Expert speakers, Evidence based Physical and up to date content Practical Takeaways Presenters Dr. Margie Olds, PhD, MSc, BSc Dr Margie Olds is a specialist shoulder physiotherapist based in Auckland, New Zealand. Her PhD focused on the risk of recurrent instability after a primary traumatic anterior shoulder dislocation. She leads the physiotherapy team at Auckland Shoulder Clinic, consulting on complex cases unresponsive to standard physio or surgery. Margie is passionate about research-driven care and is currently involved in projects on safe return to sport, the psychological impact of shoulder dislocation, and the role of education in rehab. She regularly teaches and presents at international conferences, aiming to upskill therapists and improve outcomes for people with shoulder pain. Dr Edel Fanning, PhD, MSc, BSc Consultant Shoulder Physiotherapist and founder of Sports Shoulder Performance Rehab, Edel has nearly 20 years of experience treating shoulder injuries in elite athletes across sports like rugby, football, UFC, and gymnastics. Formerly Lead Upper Limb Physiotherapist at Dublin's Sports Surgery Clinic and a Shoulder Specialist in the NHS, she holds a PhD focused on 3D biomechanics and return-to-sport testing. Edel lectures internationally on shoulder rehabilitation and performance and is an active committee member of European and Irish shoulder and elbow rehab societies.
