My Profile Summary - Please contact me for an up-to-date copy of my resume:

I have been working as a Physiotherapist for the last 9 years. Majority of my work has revolved around the mental health, neurology and cardiac condition patients. I am very well versed with the working environment in the UK , as I did my cardiac rehabilitation placement in Countess of Chester hospital, Chester and worked as a physiotherapist in the UK and India.

Recently, I took part in a Charity event in Birmingham at Holyfamily Church, 763 Coventry Road, to raise funds for the Kerala flood victims. We did consultation of the elderly individuals and gave treatment and home exercise programs.

I am very flexible, hard working, responsible and patient.

I would be willing to do flexible shifts too.

My experience proved to me that the Physiotherapists help to advocate the impact of physical health on individual’s mental wellbeing by engagement and motivation. I am proud to say that my skills and knowledge in Physical health along with my skills and experience in mental health are uniquely placed to meet the needs of patients who have both physical and mental health needs. The mind body connection is strong. The mental health issues leads to Physical health problems and Physical health problems leads to mental health issues also. Regular exercise can elevate mood, increase self-esteem and create a general feeling of well-being, and in older adults it helps to reduce falls. Physiotherapist’s role is to encourage the patients to take an active role in helping themselves to maximise their independence.

I am an internationally certified Yoga therapist. I have learned traditional yoga from Kerala, India, which has broadened my understanding of importance of mental health. I have got astonishing results with a combination of physiotherapy and yoga therapy in my treatment protocols. I have eventually developed a positive approach to connect with patients, and adapt myself to my team's work patterns.

As a Physiotherapist I have developed my skills in mental health and Physical health in the last 9 years of experience in UK and abroad. I am working as a senior physiotherapist in Complete care Physiotherapy Clinic. We provide service for Children, Adults, Older people, Youth and Complex cases. Here I am undertaking a role in assessment, diagnosis and formulation of physiotherapy treatment plans within the children, Older Adults and Adults. My job area covers acute and chronic neurological, musculoskeletal, and respiratory medical and surgical cases.

I am managing the Physiotherapy team. It is my job role to plan, organise and prioritise own client case-load, and to organise and manage the appropriate delegation of client care/work to the Junior physiotherapists and students.. I am actively participating in in-service training by attending and delivering presentations/training sessions at staff meetings.

I maintain my own continuing professional development by keeping up to date with new trends and developments through specialist clinical interest groups, peer reviews and research, and incorporating them into practise.

I have worked in reputed multispeciality hospitals like Zydus hospital and Shalby hospital, where I have used my specialist skills to treat wide range of patients in ITU, Inpatient units, Outpatient unit and day cases. The client groups included Older adult ,adults and children who have medical and surgical problems. I have treated pre and post-operative cases in Musculoskeletal, Neurological and Respiratory. I had chosen to work here as a Physiotherapist to update my specialist skills in acute care.

I can demonstrate a high level of clinical knowledge across a broad spectrum of physiotherapeutic specialities (e.g. neurological, respiratory, and musculoskeletal) to reflect the broad sweep of clinical conditions encountered with clients.
