To work as a physiotherapist in the United Kingdom, you must be registered with the  Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) . This is the official regulatory body for physiotherapists in the UK. Overseas-trained applicants will need to have their qualifications assessed and meet the HCPC’s professional standards before being legally allowed to practise.

If you are an internationally qualified physiotherapist looking for guidance, visit our  Working as a Physiotherapist in the UK section on the Physio Forum. You can also explore our dedicated guide here: Physiotherapy Registration in the UK for Overseas Applicants.
