Orchard Clinic, St Albans is looking to recruit a part time Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist on a self employed basis in Private Practice. • Regular ongoing Clinical Mentorship is received with this position from a senior member of staff with over 20 years experience in clinical supervision, teaching and examining Post Graduate MSc Physiotherapy / MACP certification, would like to help develop clinical assessment and treatment skills of a willing and well motivated individual. • One to one mentoring sessions involving teaching, patient discussion, practical hands on treatment and assessment skills sessions, watched patient sessions, all similar to those received on Post Graduate MSc clinical placements. • The position is part time for evenings or all day Wednesdays. • Suitable for junior Physiotherapists who have not worked previously in Private Practice, any individual wanting to gain better hands on assessment and treatment skills and understanding how to combine these with corrective exercise, or if you just want to work in a respected St Albans clinic. The applicant must hold HPC registration of the UK. • The client load is very varied, with self referrals, and post op rehabilitation from local consultants. • The clinic has been established for 30 years, has an excellent reputation within the local population and local GP's for "hands on treatment" and exercise rehabilitation Physiotherapy. • It is a very busy, friendly clinic. We run the clinic so Physiotherapist's work diaries are always full with patients and no gaps. • We have Clinical Pilates classes run by APPI Physiotherapists to continue patient rehabilitation during or after formal clinical treatment. • Orchard Clinic is located in the city centre, directly opposite the train station with direct line to London.
