My Profile Summary
Please contact me for an up-to-date copy of my resume:
I am Eve Mears, a recent physiotherapy graduate at Bournemouth University. During my 4 years at university I was apart of the Cheerleading team where I not only became a national champion but also a captain for my team and the kit secretary for the club. I also completed extra CPD courses throughout my studies. These included Level 4 Sports Massage, Sports Taping and First Aid courses.
During my Physiotherapy degree, I worked in 6 different placement areas ranging from 6-8 weeks long. These areas included, Inpatient rehabilitation, MSK outpatients, Acute rehabilitation, Health Research and Women's Health. My favourite areas being MSK due to the wide variety of cases and I was able to rebuild patients confidence and assist them in returning to their activities. I also enjoyed Women's Health as I found it to be empowering as it was highly patient centred, and it gave me the opportunity and confidence to utilise my communication skills as well as improving patients quality of life.
My love for sports and rehabilitation inspired my dream of becoming a physiotherapist.
