My Profile Summary
Please contact me for an up-to-date copy of my resume:
I am a HCPC and CSP registered physiotherapist with around 1.5 years of experience, and I have recently completed my MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine from Leeds Beckett University in UK. I am currently living in UK and looking for a job.
I have mainly worked with musculoskeletal and athletic patient populations and really enjoy this area of physiotherapy. In my previous role in a private outpatient clinic, I managed a varied caseload including sports rehab, geriatric rehab, post-operative rehabilitation, and complex musculoskeletal conditions. I used a combination of manual therapy, exercise-based rehabilitation, and patient education, and I regularly reviewed progress to make sure patients were improving and getting the most out of their treatment.
Working in a clinic setting has helped me become confident in managing my time, prioritising patients, and building good relationships. I try to keep my approach simple and clear, so patients understand their condition and feel involved in their recovery. I also make sure my documentation is accurate and that I follow professional and governance standards in my practice.
My internship gave me experience across different areas including neurology, respiratory, and community physiotherapy, which has helped me develop my clinical reasoning and adapt to different patient needs. Alongside this, my postgraduate studies have strengthened my understanding of rehabilitation, especially in relation to sports injuries and return to activity.
My strengths are my confidence in treating every patient I come across, having patience when managing a patient because every person is not the same and have different expectations/goals. One of my greatest strengths is adaptability. After my previous rotational experience in a hospital, I learned that I adapted quickly across musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiac, orthopaedics, paediatrics, geriatric, women's health, and community rehabilitation. This has helped me to build a strong physiotherapy foundation, enhanced my clinical skills and the ability to integrate quickly into different teams and patient requirements.
What sets me apart from my peers is my trait to tailor different exercises apart from the traditional exercises which could be easier and enjoyable for the patients with improving research evidence and NICE guidelines. I like to keep myself up to date with current evidence by constantly reading research papers, using outcome measures in my practice, attending CPD courses and seminars. I am also a believer of active patient participation into the rehabilitation and even believe that they can achieve sustainable outcomes by actively involving in decision making process by understanding their treatment journey.
I am keen to continue learning and improving as a physiotherapist while contributing positively to your team. I am available to relocate and start as soon as possible.
