Specialist MSK & Sports Physiotherapist

Arena Sports Lab

Location: Solihull Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (Self-Employed or Employed options available) Salary: £35,000 – £48,000 pro-rata (Dependent on experience) + Performance Bonus / Commission Scheme ________________________________________ About Us We are a premium private musculoskeletal (MSK) and sports injury clinic dedicated to bridging the gap between clinical rehabilitation and elite sports performance. Our facility stands out by combining hands-on sports therapy with cutting-edge technology, including advanced 3D biomechanics and Run 3D gait analysis systems. We pride ourselves on giving our clinicians the tools, time, and data required to deliver world-class, objective patient outcomes—moving clients seamlessly from acute post-op recovery back to peak performance. The Role We are seeking an enthusiastic, data-driven, and forward-thinking Physiotherapist to join our growing team. You will manage a varied caseload of private patients, ranging from acute everyday MSK conditions to elite local athletes and post-operative orthopaedic rehabilitation (including our signature 12-week Hip, Knee, and ACL Return-to-Play packages). You will utilize our state-of-the-art 3D biomechanical screening tools to uncover movement asymmetries, design comprehensive strength and conditioning plans, and deliver elite-tier recovery tracks. Key Responsibilities • Clinical Assessment: Conduct comprehensive, high-quality MSK and sports injury initial assessments for private, self-paying, and insured clients. • Biomechanical Screening: Utilize our advanced Run 3D and biomechanical analysis equipment to identify gait inefficiencies and left-to-right force asymmetries. • Treatment Delivery: Implement evidence-based treatment plans blending skilled manual therapy, joint mobilizations, medical acupuncture (if qualified), and progressive rehabilitation. • Sports Performance Rehab: Design and coach structured, gym-based rehabilitation and Strength & Conditioning (S&C) programs. • Patient Retention: Manage end-to-end patient pathways, confidently presenting and managing multi-session recovery packages to ensure full clinical compliance. • Caseload Management: Maintain meticulous, legally compliant clinical notes, manage diaries efficiently, and liaise with local private orthopaedic consultants or sports clubs where necessary. Required Skills & Experience • Qualifications: BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy. • Registrations: Full, valid registration with the HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) and the CSP (Chartered Society of Physiotherapy). • Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of post-graduate experience within private practice, outpatient MSK, or a sports club setting. • Tech-Savvy: A strong interest or experience in using objective data, video analysis, or biomechanical testing kit (training on our specific 3D systems will be fully provided). • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex biomechanics to patients in simple, engaging terms. Desirable Attributes • Post-graduate qualifications in Strength & Conditioning (e.g., ASCA, UKSCA). • Qualifications in acupuncture, dry needling, or soft tissue/sports massage. • Experience managing post-operative hip, knee, or ankle athletic rehabilitation tracks. [1, 2] What We Offer • Highly competitive salary or commission structure with clear performance bonuses. • In-depth, specialist training on state-of-the-art 3D biomechanical and gait analysis technology. • Generous Continuing Professional Development (CPD) funding and regular internal mentoring. • Longer, quality session times (e.g., 45-to-60-minute assessments) allowing you to actually treat, instead of rushing. • Modern, well-equipped clinic and gym floor environment. ________________________________________ How to Apply Please send your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your experience in MSK/sports rehabilitation
