SENIOR MSK PHYSIOTHERAPIST FOOT & ANKLE FOCUS

Physio Remedies

Physio Remedies is a private physiotherapy practice based at The Lansdowne Club in Mayfair. We are looking for an experienced MSK physiotherapist to join our team for two days per week, with a particular interest in developing our foot and ankle service. We would be delighted to hear from an established foot and ankle specialist, but we are equally interested in a strong senior MSK physiotherapist who has a genuine interest in this area and wants the opportunity to develop it further. The important thing for us is finding an excellent clinician with strong clinical reasoning, the right level of experience and the ambition to develop a specialist reputation. The role is planned around Monday and Wednesday, providing approximately 16 clinical hours across the two days, although there is some flexibility for the right person. You would take over an existing foot and ankle caseload and work with our established referrers, including orthopaedic surgeons and sports medicine doctors. Alongside foot and ankle work, you would continue to manage a varied private MSK caseload including post-operative rehabilitation, tendinopathy, sports injuries and complex rehabilitation. Over time, we would like you to help us grow the service, develop clinical pathways, strengthen referrer relationships and become someone patients and consultants increasingly associate with high-quality foot and ankle rehabilitation. We are looking for an HCPC-registered physiotherapist with significant postgraduate MSK experience who is comfortable independently managing complex patients. You should have experience of, or a clear clinical interest in, foot and ankle rehabilitation and be confident with progressive strengthening, load management and post-operative rehabilitation. You do not need to arrive with your own consultant network or patient list if you are applying for the employed role. We are more interested in where your clinical interests lie, what you have already done to develop them and where you want to take your career next. For the self-employed option, an existing patient following, specialist reputation or established referral relationships would be an advantage. Foot and ankle is our immediate priority, although additional expertise in tendinopathy, spinal conditions, persistent pain, hip and groin rehabilitation, sports rehabilitation or women's/men's health would also be very welcome. Physio Remedies has been based in Mayfair since 2005 and has long-standing relationships with leading orthopaedic surgeons, sports medicine consultants, private GPs and other healthcare professionals across London. Our location within The Lansdowne Club gives clinicians access to exceptional rehabilitation facilities including a 25m swimming pool, strength and conditioning and cardio floors, dedicated rehabilitation space, Pilates reformer, squash courts and fencing facilities. We also use focused shockwave, handheld dynamometry, Output Sports, BFR, Compex NMES and BlazePods. For an employed clinician, salary starts from £55,500 FTE, pro rata and dependent on experience, with scope to increase for a genuinely senior or specialist candidate. The package includes pension, holiday entitlement, paid administration time and structured professional development, including weekly 1:1 coaching/CPD during the first six months. For a self-employed clinician, there is potential to earn up to approximately £50,000 per year working two days per week. This is based on approximately 16 clinical hours across the two days; actual earnings will depend on caseload, utilisation and the number of weeks worked. We are looking for someone who is already a very good MSK physiotherapist but now wants the opportunity to become known for something. You may already be a foot and ankle specialist, or you may be ready to make this your specialist area. Either way, we would like to hear from clinicians who want to build something with us rather than simply f
