Our main location for operations [Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng FC Training Ground] is based in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. Our home stadium is a newly renovated stadium based in Svay Rieng province, where we travel to fulfill home fixtures. We currently operate our senior male and female teams and have recently launched our academy. It is our ambition to operate to our highest possible standard and be an exemplary club leading sports science and medicine provision in Cambodia. We have a forward-thinking team of international and local staff. We strive to develop the philosophy that we are all working together towards a common goal of bettering our club, players and the overall reputation of football in Cambodia. About the role: We are looking to add a physiotherapist to our senior team. The successful candidate will work with our senior male squad. They will report directly to the Head of Medical and Performance; Head Coach; and General Manager. They will also work in close communication with the other senior team; coaching staff; sports science and medicine staff; and support staff. On occasion the successful candidate may also be required to offer support/cover to players across the female and academy squads. Roles and Responsibilities: • Provide training and match day cover for the senior team squad. • Provide accurate assessment, diagnosis and treatment of all players; and performing relevant objective monitoring of the recovery process. • Lead on gym and field-based rehabilitation sessions. • Design and facilitate injury screening, injury prevention, activation and cool down sessions as required. • Assist in design and execution of sports science and S&C programs [in collaboration with sports science and strength and conditioning staff]. • Lead/assist in the execution of pre-signing medicals and pre-season screening of senior team players. • Organising and accompanying players who require consultation/medical procedures with external medical staff [locally and abroad, as required]. • Liaising with the Head of Medical and Performance, Head Coach and other senior team staff with information related to players injuries, treatment plans and return to play plan. • Providing medical department reports/analysis to club hierarchy [as required]. • Maintaining accurate medical reports in accordance with the clubs’ record keeping policy. • Assist in club research and continued professional development. • Monitoring stock, equipment and its upkeep.
