Job Summary: Senior Physiotherapist at UFIT Singapore Position: Senior Physiotherapist Location: Singapore Reports to: Clinical Lead & Hub Manager We are looking for a Senior Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team at UFIT Health & Fitness. The Senior Physiotherapist will play a key role in providing advanced physiotherapy care, managing complex cases, and mentoring junior physiotherapists within the team. This position requires a deep understanding of advanced musculoskeletal physiotherapy, with the ability to provide expert guidance and contribute to the development of best practices within the clinic. In addition to delivering high-quality patient care, the Senior Physiotherapist will actively collaborate with UFIT’s multidisciplinary team and contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical services offered at UFIT Health & Fitness. Key Responsibilities Assess and manage complex cases, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain and musculoskeletal disorders. Provide advanced evidence-based physiotherapy treatments, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal recovery. Collaborate with UFIT’s multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated care plans that address all aspects of clients’ health and recovery through the Circle of Care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and timely reporting of client progress to doctors and insurance providers in accordance with professional and organizational standards. Participate in team meetings & events and continuing professional development (CPD) activities. Actively contribute to UFIT’s CPD Programme through the development of educational content and workshops related to injury prevention, fitness, and overall physical well-being. Supervise the clinical work of junior physiotherapists, offering support with patient assessments, treatment planning and clinical decision-making. Provision of physiotherapy care to UFIT-sponsored sports teams or at UFIT-sponsored sports events. Adhere to all health and safety protocols, maintaining a safe, clean, and professional environment for clients and staff. Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physiotherapy from an institution recognized by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC), or passed the AHPC Qualifying Examination. Licensing: Full registration with AHPC or eligibility for registration. Experience: Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in physiotherapy, with a minimum of 2 years in a senior or leadership role in a clinical setting. Skills: Knowledge and experience of a wide range of musculoskeletal assessment and treatment approaches for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. Advanced clinical skills in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, manual therapy, rehabilitation and pain management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Strong leadership abilities, including the ability to supervise and mentor other physiotherapists. Personal Qualities: Passion for helping others achieve optimal health and well-being. A proactive, solution-oriented approach to client care. Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning. A collaborative approach to working within a multidisciplinary team. Desirable: Additional certifications or post-graduate qualifications in areas such as sports physiotherapy, orthopedic rehabilitation, manual therapy, or pain management. This position requires a deep understanding of sports & musculoskeletal injuries & rehabilitation, with the ability to provide immediate pitchside medical care as per World Rugby guidelines.
