Our clinic in Solihull is modern, with a clean, comfortable design, creating a welcoming environment for you and your clients. We also offer a range of services that compliment our physiotherapy treatments, allowing everyone the opportunity to really look after themselves, inside and out. We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed Physiotherapist with excellent manual therapy skills to join our team FOR 8-12 HOURS PER WEEK - 2 EVENING CLINICS AND ONE SATURDAY MORNING CLINIC. We do not want applications from people looking for a temporary stop gap role! We see a mixture of sport (amateur to elite), cash paying and insurance clients of various ages and with a mixture of different MSK problems. We pride ourselves on offering physiotherapy with a big focus on hands on treatment supported with exercise, electrotherapy, taping etc. The right person for this role needs to be personable and love what they do - handing patients a sheet of generic exercises is not what we're about! A commitment to CPD is required and additional skills/qualifications are desirable. General Purpose of Position: We consider exceptional customer service and client satisfaction to be paramount. The successful candidate will therefore need to demonstrate exceptional evidence based manual therapy skills, dedication to client care and team working. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: In accordance with policies & procedures: • Be professionally and legally accountable and responsible for all aspects of your own work including the management of clients in your care. • To ensure the highest standard of clinical care for the clients under your management. Maintain and actively further the skills required to practice physiotherapy. • Maintain both Chartered Society membership and Health Professions Council registration. • Maintain the skills required to practice physiotherapy with individuals who present with musculoskeletal conditions some of which may be highly complex. • Undertake comprehensive assessments of patients with musculoskeletal conditions using advanced clinical reasoning skills and manual therapy techniques • Maintain accurate computerised records of each and ever client contact using our web based patient management system • Update online portals relating to insurance companies where necessary inline with out current and evolving service level agreements • Manage clinical risk within own client case load. • Contribute equitably to maintaining the cleanliness of the practice especially reception and bathroom areas • Clean/tidy consulting rooms in between sessions • Maintain practice dress standards • Any other administrative/assistive duties as directed by the clinic director • Regularly participate in in-house and external continuous professional development which will impact positively on service users. Skills|Abilities: • Adhere fully to the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy’s Code of Conduct. • Good team working skills combined with understanding of and commitment to wider multi- disciplinary working. • Excellent interpersonal skills • Good communication • Highly developed physical skills, dexterity, co-ordination and sensory skills for assessment and manual treatments.
