I am confident that my diverse experiences, interdisciplinary skill set, comprehensive understanding of Rana Plaza survivor’s, and linked them with TVET institute, facilitate collaboration between CRP training institute and garments sector, recruitment to RMG sector, and drive to succeed make me a strong candidate to support the work of the Skills for Employment Investment Program (SEIP) a long-standing personal goal. My experience with development sector came after the Disaster of Rana plaza collapse in 2014 at Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (CRP). I analyzed relevant issues, information, regarding the rehabilitation and placement of Rana plaza survivors at different RMG factories. At the time, much of the conversation among intergovernmental organizations covered the lead. After the completion of Rana plaza project I continued my work with Inclusive Job Centre (funded by GIZ) on October, 2015. A prime component of my work encompassed the analysis of the cooperative roles among the stakeholders, donors, Disabled people organizations, BKMEA, BGMEA & LFMEAB. In my most recent position, I specialized in disability inclusive work at Readymade garments, textiles and leather industries within GIZ funded project, IJC. There, I designed data analysis, preparation of reports, cooperation and sensitization with factory personnel, Assessment and make linkage for placement of persons with Disabilities, and presented findings to stakeholders and beneficiaries. I was also responsible for relations with foreign partners – not only NGOs and networks in the field of development but also international human rights monitoring bodies. Being an optimistic and creative team player with very good presentation skills and a wide range of interests, I am also able to work alone. I feel I am the right person for this position due to my personal strengths in analytical thinking, organization and problem solving, my very good communication skills and a long-standing familiarity with the issues of RMG and human rights in general.
