With over 13 years of experience in the Zambia Civil Service, I am a passionate and results-driven physiotherapist committed to improving the health and well-being of diverse patient populations. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy and a Certificate in Home-Based and Palliative Care, with extensive experience delivering patient-centred care across both hospital and community-based settings. I have worked across a wide range of clinical specialties, including internal medicine, orthopaedics, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, surgery, and geriatric rehabilitation. My scope of practice spans acute and long-term rehabilitation, with a strong focus on restoring mobility, managing pain, improving functional independence, and enhancing overall quality of life. In community-based rehabilitation (CBR), I have led weekly outreach programmes for older adults and children with neurodevelopmental conditions, while also training caregivers and community volunteers in essential rehabilitation and home-care techniques to ensure sustainable, community-level support. I am now seeking an opportunity to contribute to a progressive healthcare team where I can apply my clinical expertise, strong work ethic, and passion for rehabilitation.
