My Profile Summary
Please contact me for an up-to-date copy of my resume:
With over 13 years of experience in the Zambia Civil Service, I am a passionate and results-driven physiotherapist committed to enhancing the health and well-being of diverse patient populations. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy and a certificate in Home-Based and Palliative Care, with extensive experience delivering patient-centered care in both hospital and community-based settings. I have worked across a broad range of clinical specialties, including internal medicine, orthopedics, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, surgery, and geriatric rehabilitation. My scope of practice includes both acute and long-term rehabilitation, focusing on restoring mobility, alleviating pain, improving functional independence, and enhancing overall quality of life. In my role within community-based rehabilitation (CBR), I have led weekly outreach programs for the elderly and children with neurodevelopmental conditions. I also train caregivers and community volunteers in essential rehabilitation and home care techniques to promote sustainable support at the grassroots level. I am now seeking an opportunity to contribute to a progressive healthcare team where I can apply my clinical expertise, strong work ethic, and passion for rehabilitation to support patients in achieving their highest functional potential.
