Location: Maldives (Relocation from India) Salary: USD $1,200/month + accommodation + return airfare Client: One-on-one rehabilitation support for a 13-year-old boy Start Date: Immediate (flexible for the right candidate) Contract Duration: 12 months (extendable) About the Role We are seeking a compassionate and experienced physiotherapist—preferably based in or around Bangalore, India—to relocate to the Maldives for a 1-year full-time, live-in role. You will provide focused rehabilitation therapy to a bright and articulate 13-year-old boy named Musi, who recently underwent bilateral orthopedic surgery for cerebral palsy (including distal femoral extension osteotomy, patellar tendon advancement, and the Mosca procedure). Your Responsibilities Deliver 4 hours of physiotherapy per day, 6 days a week (timing flexible) Design and adapt a progressive rehabilitation plan in coordination with Dr. Jayanath Sampath, the surgeon based in Bangalore Maintain therapy notes and progress records Ensure Musi is engaged, motivated, and progressing toward his recovery goals Support the family in integrating exercises into daily routines (no household work is expected) What We Offer USD $1,200 - $1,500/month salary (above market rate for similar roles in India) Private furnished accommodation in the same building as the client Return airfare from India to the Maldives (covered) All visa costs and work permit formalities handled A peaceful, beachside environment that fosters wellness and focus Who You Are Qualified physiotherapist (BPT/MPT) with pediatric or neurological rehab experience preferred Confident, warm, and patient — able to build trust with children and families Comfortable relocating to a new country for a year Able to coordinate remotely with a consulting doctor and follow post-operative rehab protocols Bonus: Prior experience with cerebral palsy, orthopedic rehab, or post-surgical therapy
