Physiotherapist (Mid-to-Senior Level) - Japan Winter Season 2026/27

Asia Physio is an Australian-owned physiotherapy company that has been supporting skiers, snowboarders and travellers across Japan's best ski resorts for over 20 years. Our clinics are fast paced, friendly and internationally focused - and this winter, we're looking for mid-to-senior level physiotherapists. This role is ideal for physiotherapists who are confident working independently, love a varied caseload, and want to be part of a team that genuinely cares about clinical outcomes. You’ll manage acute and sub-acute snow sport injuries, support junior staff, and play an active role in the day-to-day running of the clinic - including diary management and achieving team targets. What you can expect: - Live and work in Japan's most renowned ski resorts - Niseko, Rusutsu, Hakuba, Myoko, Nozawa Onsen, and Furano! - Balanced shifts so you can enjoy the snow and the lifestyle in Japan - Work directly with, and learn from, Dr Tom Cross on acute ACL management and the Cross Bracing Protocol - Treat a high volume of snow sport injuries - ACL, knee, shoulder - Lead and mentor a team of early-career physiotherapists - Staff accommodation available - Organised transport to help you access the town, shops, ski slopes and more - Social activities, staff parties, dinners, and more! This is a seasonal role and applicants must be available for the full season: December 2026 to April 2027 Job Requirements - Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physiotherapy (Australia, UK and New Zealand trained Physiotherapists preferred, with relevant AHPRA, HCPC or PBNZ registration required) - Minimum 3 years of experience in private practice, sports settings, and/or treating musculoskeletal conditions - Strong leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills - Confident working independently and managing a varied caseload - Fluent in English (verbal and written) - Adaptable and comfortable living in shared accommodation - Have or are eligible for a Working Holiday Visa or valid work permit in Japan (please ensure you meet the eligibility criteria before submitting your application) - Have or are eligible for an International Driving Permit in Japan This is the role that will have all your physio colleagues wishing they applied
