I am a Physical therapist currently practicing in Abu Dhabi, UAE in a Private Home health care company(with driving license). With almost 8 years of experience in the field I have gained multiple Professional licenses in different places, proving my capability as a trusted and reliable PT.
As I started my professional career, I began to search for a specialization that could really bring out the best in me. While I am in my home country I focus on pediatrics and sports. After leaving the Philippines and practicing initially in Dubai, UAE I was exposed to a wider range of cases such as Musculoskeletal, Neurological, post- surgery care and pediatrics. Being able to work in United Arab Emirates also allowed me to treat not just multiple cases but multi-cultural diversity when it comes to patients.
As someone who seeks growth in both personal and professional level, I know that being able to work in the UK will give me a lot of opportunities to help others. I have work in various setting such as Sports, Neurological, Pediatric, Geriatric and Musculoskeletal with a wide knowledge on Assessment, planning of treatment, Intervention skills and most importantly seeking to give the best quality of patient care.
Being a Physiotherapist is a continually evolving profession and this is why I keep myself updated with the latest Evidence based studies that would help me give the best treatment method to my patients. I love being able to make a change in the life of my patients and it takes a lot of dedication, patience, and care to be a Physiotherapist, not to mention the amount of study we all have to go through to be a PT.
Part of giving the best type of care to my patients is also knowing the scope and limitations of my job and this is why working in a Multidisciplinary team is very essential. Being able to professionally communicate with nurse, OT’s, SLP’s, GP’s, case manager and other helps the overall progress of my patients.
Furthermore, I possessed good work ethics, respecting everyone, trust, understanding, honesty, care and just being a good team player and a good person overall. I know that this is one of my greatest strengths being excellent in interpersonal skills both with patients and workmates.
