We are currently looking for an experienced HCPC registered Physiotherapist to work in our physio clinic, based in Wolverhampton Lawn Tennis and Squash Club, where the 2023 junior Wimbledon champion Henry Searle trained and developed. The successful candidate will work independently at the clinic, whilst developing a relationship with the tennis club, providing treatment and advice to members, non-members and insurance clients. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Physiotherapist with a keen interest in tennis and sports to develop this exciting role. This role requires a talented musculoskeletal clinician, ideally with experience in treating acute injuries as well as having a rehabilitation mindset. We are looking for someone that is happy to work independently but keen to work as a member of our clinical team, as well as becoming an integral part of the club. A minimum of 3 years clinical experience is required. We have been established for over 20 years, have a clinic nearby in Telford and also provide a domiciliary rehabilitation service. The Wolverhampton clinic comprises a self contained clinical room with access to a well-equipped rehabilitation gym and studio. Your working week would be agreed at interview but can be flexible according to your requirements. Ideally we are looking for a minimum of 25 hours each week (including 2 evenings, or one evening and Saturdays). Key roles and responsibilities: • Maintaining a professional image at all times • Working according to physiotherapy standards at all times, including record keeping and attending mandatory training • Assessment and treatment • Rehabilitation • Delivery of clinical excellence independently and throughout the team to a varied client base, from elite athlete to the armchair expert! • Completing assessments according to 3rd party requirements to specified timescales • Working with health insurance companies and 3rd party referral sources. Requirements • Minimum 3 years post graduation • HCPC registered • CSP member • Good Communication skills • Adequate IT skills • Enhanced DBS certificate • Clean record with regulatory body • Preferably experienced in sports injuries • Preferably with a keen interest in tennis and or squash Benefits: • Negotiable competitive rate according to experience • CPD budget. • Membership of the tennis club and gym • Flexible working • Excellent full time admin support • Plenty of free onsite parking
