Mritunjay Kumar | Physiotherapist
I’m a dedicated Physiotherapist with over 13 years of diverse clinical experience, specializing in musculoskeletal, neurological, geriatric, and sports rehabilitation. Currently, I serve as the Centre Head and Senior Physiotherapist at Viporna Physiotherapy Clinic, New Delhi, where I lead a multidisciplinary team delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy (BPT) from S.V. NIRTAR, Odisha, and a Master’s in Geriatric Care (MSc) from The Global Open University, Nagaland. I’m a registered member of the Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP) and hold professional registration with CORU, Ireland, aligning my practice with international standards.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with patients across all age groups and conditions—helping them regain mobility, strength, and confidence through tailored rehabilitation plans. My clinical expertise includes manual therapy, electrotherapy, therapeutic exercise prescription, postural re-education, pain management, and gait training. I believe in empowering patients through education, prevention, and active participation in their recovery.
As a clinician and leader, I have successfully managed clinic operations, implemented quality protocols, and mentored junior physiotherapists to uphold high standards of care. I’ve also led community health programs, workshops, and outreach initiatives, promoting accessibility and preventive healthcare at the grassroots level.
I’ve authored and presented research, including a published case report in Physiotherapy Theory and Practice (2019) and a presentation on Stroke Rehabilitation and ICF Implementation. My clinical projects—ranging from post-COVID rehabilitation to neuromuscular injury prevention in athletes—reflect my passion for innovation and continuous learning.
I approach physiotherapy as both a science and an art—grounded in evidence but delivered with empathy and purpose. My philosophy is to treat not just the condition but the person behind it, focusing on holistic, functional recovery.
With CORU registration and international exposure, I’m now looking to contribute my skills in advanced clinical settings abroad, particularly in Ireland, where I can collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and continue advancing the field of physiotherapy through service, leadership, and education.
