Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist We Are looking for a part time and or full time MSK physiotherapist to join our team at Physioplus Chippenham. We are a small private practice, looking to develop a MSK physiotherapist to help them on the path to becoming a highly accomplished musculoskeletal physiotherapist. They must have a passion for helping others, have very good interpersonal skills and a thirst to improve themselves and learn from others. Physioplus is based in Chippenham Wiltshire. As a well established clinic having opened in 2006 we are well respected within the local community, General Practices, Orthopedic surgeons and other Fitness professionals. We work within a diverse Musculoskeletal setting and pride ourselves on clear concise diagnosis with a combination of manual therapy, rehabilitation, gait analysis, improving movement patterns and holistic well being. Patients attend with a variety of problems varying from post operative rehabilitation following orthopedic surgery, sports injuries, occupational health injuries and injuries sustained from activities of daily living. The roles are autonomous within the practice, however help and support is always close by. Our mentoring approach helps us and you develop skills to ensure support for you and your patients. Requirements of the role • Must have a BSc or MSc Pre-Registration in Physiotherapy • Must be HCPC registered Interests/Qualities required • Interest in progression of skills e.g. Acupuncture, MACP or SOM • Interest in manual therapy & movement control • A Thirst for knowledge • Comfortable with critical appraisal • Team player Career Progression At Physioplus we believe that you never stop learning and developing your skills within Musculoskeletal physiotherapy. To this end there is always a supportive team around you. Your development in your skills is paramount to us and to this end we support both with in house training and funding towards external courses. Previous employees have attended Masters in Physiotherapy, Work place set ups, Bike fitting, Acupuncture training and Manipulation techniques to name but a few. Aspects of the Role The positions are open to those looking for both part time and full-time hours. We work a Flexible diary which involves some early starts 8am, some evenings finishing by 7pm and room still for a half day off per week! The clinic is closed at the weekend at present and would only be open on a Saturday should this suit the candidate. Pay Structure We pay a competitive base salary depending on experience. There is a structured appraisal system and annual salary review. Private Health insurance is available to you.
