We are an award-winning and innovative neurological physiotherapy team providing high-quality community-based rehabilitation for people living with Traumatic Brain Injury, Stroke, Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy and other complex conditions. Our team currently comprises eight neurological physiotherapists, a specialist paediatric physiotherapist, two neurological rehabilitation coaches, and a comprehensive business support team. We work with over 100 clients across Greater Manchester and further afield when required. We work closely with clients both in their own home, our clinic or in the community where we access a variety of gyms, pools and activity centres. We offer tailored and individual physiotherapy to enable our clients to improve function which has been impaired as a result of their condition. We specialise in helping people get back to daily life, vocational rehabilitation, treating severely impaired individuals, and therapeutic engagement. What’s the job opportunity? This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your career in neurological physiotherapy within a successful practice. We are looking for a Neurological Physiotherapist to join our growing practice. You would need to be committed to creative physiotherapy treatment with an ability to think broadly in your approach to clients with complex disabilities. You will be self-motivated, efficient and able to work closely with the Physio Matters Team and our wider Interdisciplinary Teams. We are very keen to develop our staff and offer a wide range of training opportunities. If you joined our team, we would invest in you to help develop your career and progress within our practice. What will you be doing? As a Neurological Physiotherapist, you will plan and deliver bespoke physiotherapy treatment for a wide variety of individuals with neurological conditions. You will deliver treatments at the client’s home, our clinic and in community facilities such as gyms and hydrotherapy pools; at indoor activity centres such as for skiing, walking netball and climbing; or at outdoor activity centres for kayaking and cycling. You will be able to manage complex clients, and deliver training to other members of the team as well as supervise junior staff. You will have access to our state-of-the-art client management system and our friendly business support team who organise appointments, meetings, activity bookings and paperwork, leaving you to focus on being a physiotherapist. You will be involved in professional events alongside other members of the team, interdisciplinary training sessions, meetings, and a wide range of CPD opportunities. You will be encouraged to network with healthcare professionals and help us to continue to develop our successful practice. What are the hours? You will be expected to work 37.5 hours per week, this is usually between 8.45am and 4.45pm, but some flexibility could be accommodated. What about travel? The role involves working in the community, so there will be travel to and from client appointments. You must be able to drive and happy to use your own vehicle as part of your work routine. We pay a mileage allowance for all travel.
