About the opportunity Working in a dynamic and evolving community interdisciplinary team with some in reach into the sub-acute rehabilitation ward within rehabilitation services. You'll work alongside other senior therapists in planning and providing patient centred rehabilitation to our patients who are predominantly under the age of 65. You'll have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and expertise in rehabilitation with neurological, orthopaedic, and medical conditions including traumatic brain injury and stroke. You will also have the opportunity to support, teach and upskill students and rotational staff. About you Ideally you will bring to us at least three years physiotherapy experience that includes working in community/inpatient sub-acute rehabilitation settings with patients with stroke, acquired brain injuries and other neurological conditions. You would be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of optimising patient outcomes and facilitating effective discharge planning, using a patient centred and evidence-based approach to goal setting and intervention. In addition to the experience you bring us, you will have enthusiasm and a willingness to commit to our team and patients. You will be expected to be active in service quality initiatives, therefore be proactive, innovative and have a quality driven leadership approach. For this permanent role covering the service, you will need to be a New Zealand registered physiotherapist with a current annual practising certificate.
