Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist ready to extend your interprofessional skills at the Hastings Fallen Soldier's Memorial Hospital? This full-time role is within a unique MDT that covers the Emergency Department and Acute Assessment Unit seven days per week until 6pm, with a focus on sorting equipment and support needs in order to facilitate timely discharges. You'll work eight shifts per fortnight and thus will have some weekdays off within every fortnight. Our ideal candidate will be confident in dealing with a variety of patient presentations. You'll work closely with PT and SW colleagues on weekdays and autonomously on weekends, embracing the interprofessional practice. Thus our ideal candidate will take up the opportunity to learn new skills beyond the traditional Occupational Therapy roles. This position will be part of the wider Te Whata Moanarua team and may involve supporting areas in our Inpatient Wards at times.
