Permanent, part-time 20 hours per fortnight (0.5 FTE) Are you passionate about physiotherapy? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced physiotherapist to join our acute inpatient team at Hawke's Bay Hospital. This permanent position lies within our well established and welcoming surgical service which includes both surgical and orthopaedic wards. These wards cover trauma and elective orthopaedics, general surgical plus vascular over a broad age range. We're looking for someone who has outstanding clinical skills, a passion forworking in fast paced acute environments, excellent communication skills and an ability and enthusiasm to support and develop others. Our dynamic and supportive physiotherapy and allied health teams are passionate about: engaging people and their whanau in care so they can take control of their health and well being setting up consumers to effectively manage long-term conditions or acute illness from hospital helping people to develop or adapt their skills, strengths and abilities innovation and change for better patient outcomes. Our ideal candidate will be flexible, with an ability to work autonomously and within both interprofessional and multidisciplinary styles as needed. A minimum of 3 years postgraduate experience is essential, and knowledge of and experience in orthopaedic and surgical physiotherapy principles is highly desirable. What are the benefits to you?
