Permanent, part-time or full-time Allied Health roles available What are we looking for? A Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker to join our Hoki ki te Kāinga team, on a permanent basis. This position is currently based at Hawke's Bay Hospital, and can be part time or full-time. We are flexible with hours and days, including weekends - let us know what suits you! The role is primarily based out of Hawke's Bay Hospital, but there is also the opportunity to be based out of our Napier office for some of your days if that interests you. The role includes working with adults, with most of the caseload being elderly clients. There is a mixture of orthopaedic, stroke, frailty, respiratory, medical and surgical clients. The role includes the following: - Supporting adults in the transition home from hospital - Setting meaningful goals with the patient and their whānau - Developing individualized rehabilitation and care plans - Delivering a high intensity of rehabilitation in a community setting - Setting up and progressing exercise programmes - Coaching and supervision of rehabilitation assistants What can we offer you? - Flexible hours or days - Penal rates for weekends and statutory holidays, as well as extra leave allowance for shift work - Excellent interprofessional peer supervision with weekly MDT discussion of your entire caseload - Opportunities for growth and development within the organisation - Access to discipline specific in services, as well as monthly Hoki ki te Kāinga in-services - Access to support and advice through the Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Social Work Professional Leads - Internal and external training opportunities - Reimbursement of annual practicing certificate - Reimbursement of up to $500 of professional association fees - Relocation support for those coming from outside Hawke's Bay If you would like to learn more about this role please contact: Amy Williamson, Hoki ki te Kāinga Team Leader 027 345 3878.
