* Full-time position, 40 hours per week (0.5 FTE fixed through until June 2024; 0.5 FTE permanent) * Registration with the NZ Physiotherapy Board and an Annual Practicing Certificate is essential Mō te tūnga - About the Role Here at Christchurch Hospital, we are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our Cardiorespiratory and Surgical team working across our respiratory inpatient and community services. This role is responsible for the delivery of physiotherapeutic assessments of patients with diverse and complex respiratory conditions and to deliver patient focused treatment programmes in both acute and community settings. You will be actively involved in the education and training of fourth year undergraduate students and our junior rotational staff. You will need to be enthusiastic and confident in your clinical practice and have a collaborative communication style. Ko wai koe - About You In this role, you will be responsible for: * undertaking expert assessments, completing appropriate interventions and providing advice or referring to other services * supervising and mentoring rotational staff and final year physiotherapy students * helping to facilitate service improvements.
