Musculoskeletal Chartered Physiotherapist (Part-Time / Associate)

Kinetic Physio

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist Hours: Initially 1–2 days per week (approx. 12–15 clinical hours) with flexible working days/hours. Excellent potential to expand hours and build a long-term associate role. You will assess and treat a varied private musculoskeletal caseload, delivering high-quality, patient-centred physiotherapy using a combination of manual therapy, client education, exercise rehabilitation, and strength & conditioning principles. This is an ideal opportunity for a clinician who enjoys clinical autonomy while working within a supportive practice. Whether you are already experienced in private practice or looking to further refine your skill set, you will be encouraged to grow your confidence and build a lasting caseload. Located in the heart of Roscommon Town, Kinetic Physiotherapy is a well-established private musculoskeletal clinic dedicated to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in a friendly, professional, and supportive environment. We treat a diverse caseload—ranging from acute soft tissue and sports injuries (including local GAA and Camogie athlete care) to post-surgical rehabilitation, spinal conditions, and occupational health. We pride ourselves on providing longer appointment times, hands-on treatment, APPI clinical Pilates, and personalised rehabilitation programmes that deliver excellent patient outcomes. You will be joining a clinic with a loyal patient base, modern treatment facilities, full administrative/online booking support, and strong local reputation. Essential Requirements (Republic of Ireland) * CORU Registration: Current active registration with CORU * Professional Membership: Member of (or eligible for membership with) the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP). * Qualification: Recognised BSc or MSc Degree in Physiotherapy. * Insurance: Valid Professional Indemnity Insurance. * Clinical Skills: Confident assessing and managing an independent musculoskeletal caseload with strong clinical reasoning and manual therapy skills. * Communication: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient rapport skills. Desirable Experience & Interests * Previous experience in private practice and/or sports injury management (e.g., pitch-side/GAA or sports club coverage). * APPI Pilates Qualification (or an interest in delivering 1:1 and class-based Clinical Pilates). * Strong interest in exercise rehabilitation, prescription, and strength & conditioning. What We Offer * Established Patient List: Immediate access to an active patient base from day one. * Competitive Pay: Generous self-employed hourly rate (€35–€45/hr DOE). * Flexibility: Flexible working days and appointment schedule to suit work-life balance. * Facilities & Support: Fully equipped treatment space with administrative support, booking software, and marketing handling. * Clinical Autonomy & Mentoring: Freedom to manage your patient care combined with ongoing clinical support and mentoring from lead physiotherapy staff as required. * Long-Term Growth: Genuine opportunity to grow your clinical hours into a long-term associate position.
