Physiotherapist required for this small long-established, very personalized physiotherapy practice in Kalamunda, Western Australia. The practice is a manual hands-on therapy clinic with a caseload of approximately 70% spinal and 25% peripheral patients. The peripheral caseload includes post-operative shoulder, hip, and knee surgeries. Pilates, rehabilitative exercises, gym and hydrotherapy requirements are outsourced to other local physios. With our excellent reputation and a strong GP and Specialist referral base, the opportunity exists for the right applicant to join our small personable clinic and to make a genuine difference to the health and well-being of the local community. On-site mentoring is readily available within the clinic. The practitioner is required to have good diagnostic and manual hands-on therapy skills for the predominantly spinal and sports injury workload. The position would suit an experienced physiotherapist, or a graduate with over two years of clinical experience who has an interest to pursue a career in manual hands-on physiotherapy. The City of Kalamunda sits on the escarpment overlooking the Capital City of Perth with views extending over the Swan River, the city, and onward to the Indian Ocean. Kalamunda exudes more of a “community” atmosphere rather than as a suburb of Perth. Kalamunda is 30 kilometers from Perth and is within a 50 minutes’ drive to the city center and the popular beaches, and is about 20 minutes from the restaurant areas of Mount Lawley and Victoria Park. The area is well serviced by the bus and rail services. Renumeration: $95,000 pa plus 10.5% superannuation Hours: Full time, or pro rata depending upon workload.
