Sunshine Coast Health Services is an Allied Health Clinic offering Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Exercise Physiology and Speech Pathology services. We are nestled in North Buderim which means we are very centrally located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist that genuinely cares about empowering their patients, to join our team 2-3 days per week and help contribute to our vision.
Key Responsibilities
Comprehensive treatment of predominantly musculoskeletal patients with acute or chronic pain or injuries
Grow and maintain a case load of patients
Provide efficient service and follow up of clients
Ensure the client has a plan, understands the process, receives an exercise programme if relevant and is discharged once goals have been reached
Write reports to doctors as required, follow up with other healthcare professionals and 3rd parties involved in the patients care
Work with DVA patients if required
Communicate with care and compassion with clients and all inter-disciplinary team members
Model the clinic values and culture
The Ideal Candidate
Fully qualified Physiotherapist with minimum 3 years experience
Current AHPRA registration
Current, fully comprehensive indemnity insurance cover (min 10,000,000)
Great rapport with an older population
Work independently as well as be a great team player - we are a family at SCHS and work to support each other as well as our community
Experience with working with people who live with Parkinson's Disease will be highly valued but not essential
Desire to deliver quality care, innovation and best practice services
