Become an accredited lymphoedema therapist fast (online + 1 week in-person)

Australian Institute of Lymphoedema

An average of 1 in every 2 patients after breast cancer and 1 in every 2 patients develop lymphoedema after cancer treatments. Australian cancer patients have reported struggling to find help and being given incorrect or inappropriate by healthcare practitioners (Sierla et al 2013). There is a need for qualified lymphoedema practitioners in Australia.

Lymphoedema treatment is simple including:-
- education
- skin care
- lymphatic massage
- compression bandaging
- compression garments and pumps
- exercise prescription
- lymph taping
- laser and other technology such as negative pressure
In our course by the Australian Institute of Lymphoedema you learn how to use all of these modalities!

The Australasian Lymphology Association (ALA) is the peak professional lymphology association for lymphoedema in Australia. Our course is ALA accredited and allows you to be listed as a Physiotherapist on the National Lymphoedema Practitioners Register as a respected and qualified lymphoedema practitioner.

The course involves 4 weeks of online learning and one week of face to face training enabling you to become qualified in a timely manner. The upcoming dates are:
Online: starts from the 12th of July. Video lectures feature Professor Piller from Flinders University - Australia's only lymphologist!
In person: The in-person training is from the 16-20th of August at the Rydges in Sydney. This week is very practical and fun!

$600 early bird discount applies until the 25th of June.
Use Coupon Code: PhysioBob100 for a further $100 discount on top of the early bird rate.
A 10% Physiosure discount is available (after the early bird rate has ceased as the early bird and PhysioBob coupon code awards you a 20% discount.)
