Standard physiotherapy assessment addresses tissue, strength, and range of motion. It does not routinely assess the brain's internal map of the body — the cortical representation that degrades with injury and does not automatically restore when the anatomy heals. This is the clinical layer that explains why structurally cleared patients stagnate. The BQ Body Intelligence™ Practitioner Certification is a 12-module programme delivering a six-layer sensorimotor assessment framework grounded in established sensorimotor neuroscience. Practitioners complete the programme via live Zoom delivery with direct access to the programme founder throughout. Assessment battery covered: two-point discrimination, Rydel-Seiffer quantitative vibration sense, sharp/dull spinothalamic screen, joint position sense, bilateral weight distribution, and motor imagery (MIQ-R and laterality judgement task). Every layer produces a numerical score. Together they form an individual map profile — bilateral, trackable, and actionable. Open to: physiotherapists and exercise physiologists.
