The Tai Chi for Health and Falls Prevention Program is an evidence-based, safe and targeted Tai Chi intervention program to effectively increase the strength of lower limb muscles and knee and ankle extensors; improve mobility, motion range and coordinated postural stability; improve dynamic balance and postural control; prevent bone demineralization and reduce the risk of bone fracture; improve toe clearance, proprioception and gait; increase mental alertness and reduce reaction time; boost confidence and overcome anxiety and the fear of falling.

[COURSE] - The Clinical Tai Chi for Chronic Condition Rehabilitation & Management Program

Incorporating key Tai Chi intervention techniques with proven clinical benefits and adapted for chronic condition patients, the Clinical Tai Chi for Chronic Condition Rehabilitation and Management Program is an evidence-based, non-pharmacological therapy designed to alleviate symptoms, facilitate recovery, regain functional abilities, and improve overall health and wellbeing and quality of life for patients with chronic conditions.

[COURSE] The Tai Chi for Mental Health and Cognitive Improvement Program

The above Tai Chi intervention programs contain two modules: the module of standing movements and the module of chair-based movements designed for elderly and patient populations with all levels of mobility and balance.

Course applicants only need to choose ONE program for a 2-day training course

This is a step-by-step teaching and practice course tailored for physiotherapists and other allied health practitioners and assistants, and exercise professionals.
