I strive to ensure that client-centered care remains at the forefront of my physiotherapy practice. I have accrued over fourteen years of experience in a variety of clinical environments, which include acute care, chronic pain, occupational rehab, clinical Pilates studios and sports practices. I have completed numerous professional development courses across a myriad of subjects which include shoulder dysfunction, dry needling, clinical Pilates, lumbopelvic dysfunction, complex chronic pain management and therapeutic yoga. Moreover, I have assisted with academic research at the University of British Columbia, Arizona State University and Queen's University. In particular, I conducted my own research on Prochaska's Transtheoretical Modal of Behavioural Change as it pertains to exercise behaviour in a cardiac rehabilitation setting.
I have a particular interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, as it supports my interests in clinical Pilates, therapeutic yoga and shoulder dysfunction. My diverse clinical skills, adaptive nature and client-centred approach would make me an excellent asset to your practice.
