I strive to ensure that patient-centered care is at the forefront of my practice as a physiotherapist. I have acquired thirteen years of clinical experience in a variety of environments, which include acute care, chronic pain, occupational rehab, sporting injuries, and verstibular disorders. I have completed over fourteen professional development courses across a myriad of subjects which include shoulder dysfunction, dry needling, clinical Pilates, lumbopelvic dysfunction, complex chronic pain management and therapeutic yoga. Moreover, I have assisted with research at the University of British Columbia and Arizona State University as well as conducted my own research on Prochaska's Transtheoretical Modal of Behavioral Change as it relates to exercise behavior at Queen's University in Ontario Canada.
I am particularly interested in working at a musculoskeletal-focused private practice, as it supports my interests in clinical Pilates, therapeutic yoga and shoulder dysfunction.
My diverse clinical skills, adaptive nature and patient-centered approach would make me an excellent asset to your practice.
