The role is part of the Wellbeing, Health and Safety team who are involved in a wide variety of projects and initiatives, providing advice and support on Occupational Health and Safety best practice. As a Physiotherapist in our Wellbeing Health and Safety team you will be responsible for working across the Canterbury DHB and West Coast DHB to form effective relationships with all stakeholders. Identifying the implications and risks of musculoskeletal discomfort experienced by our varied workforce, you will work with stakeholders to create and implement initiatives to minimise or eliminate these risks. You will also provide subject matter expertise as part of the planning process for the annual programme of work for the Wellbeing Health and Safety team..
This is a full-time permanent position giving you the opportunity to use your physiotherapy skills and experience to create and implement a safer work environment for our employees.
Skills and experience
In addition to your evident relationship building skills and desire to continually improve the wellbeing, health and safety of our workforce you will meet the following criteria
•Hold a current NZ Practising certificate in Physiotherapy
