Starship Child Health is looking for Physio’s with a passion for paediatrics to join the directorate in providing premium healthcare services to our tamariki & youth! As a paediatric physiotherapist within the Auckland DHB, you will thrive within a vibrant, innovative and diverse setting amongst a supportive interdisciplinary team of Dietetics, Hospital Play Specialists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech Language Therapists and Social Workers! Professionally, you will have many opportunities to develop and specialise in areas covered by the team, as well as receiving on-going support/ mentorship from the highly experienced clinicians you will work amongst.
We have two opportunities available to work in full-time (40 hours per week) permanent capacities within:
- The Paediatric Allied Health team based at Auckland City Hospital, inclusive of Starship Children’s Hospital.
- The Starship Community team based at the Greenlane Clinical Centre and will involve working amongst the Auckland Community.
To be successful you will need:
• Registration as a New Zealand Physiotherapist
• A current Annual Practicing Certificate you can provide upon application
• The ability to work autonomously in a bicultural environment
• If applying for the Community role – you must have a clean and full NZ Drivers Licence (manual & auto) that you can provide upon application.
