Physiotherapy Job Summary:
One of our physiotherapists is going on extended leave so we’re looking for a highly qualified and experienced physiotherapist with training in Clinical Pilates instruction to takeover her existing Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and Clinical Pilates caseload and become an integral long-term member of our highly successful and sought-after team.
OPTION ONE – MS PHYSIO AND CLINICAL PILATES
Employment basis: Permanent
Employment type: Full-time - 38 hours per week
Remuneration: $90,000p.a. inclusive of Superannuation
Days and hours of work:
Mon: 2pm – 7pm
Tue: 7am – 7pm (Break: 1pm – 2pm)
Wed: 7am – 7pm (Break: 1pm – 2pm)
Fri: 11am – 6pm (Break: 1pm- 2pm)
Sat: 8am – 1pm
OPTION TWO – CLINICAL PILATES INSTRUCTION ONLY
Employment basis: Fixed Term Contract starting as soon as possible to 18 August 2018 with potential to convert to Permanent Part-time or Full-time employment.
Remuneration: $70 per hour inclusive of Superannuation
Days and hours of work: 7 hours per week
Mon: 5pm – 7pm
Wed: 5pm – 7pm
Sat: 9am – 12pm
Our patients are a wonderful mix of school and university students, young and seasoned working professionals, semi-retired and retired workers who are referred by specialists, GPs and word-of-mouth.
The Physiotherapy caseload includes the assessment and management of common musculoskeletal conditions and post-surgical rehabilitation.
The Clinical Pilates caseload includes both one-on-one and small group instruction on DMA Clinical Pilates equipment in our Pilates studio.
To be successful, you are well-presented, confident and outgoing in your interaction with patients, referrers and colleagues. You are attentive, empathic and compassionate in your care of patients. You are self-motivated and disciplined in initiating and executing tasks to completion.
Further, you value customer service, respect your work colleagues, valuing their past and present contribution to the practice, and enjoy working individually as part of a team.
Working alongside four experienced physiotherapists, including a titled-physiotherapist, and remedial/sports massage therapist in modern surroundings, you will receive and contribute to continuing education and training by way of inservices, case discussions and financial support for external courses.

The successful candidate must possess:
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in private practice
Clinical Pilates experience (preferably in DMA Clinical Pilates)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently
Current AHPRA registration and Professional Indemnity Insurance cover
