Physiotherapy Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic physiotherapist who loves combining hands on treatment with exercise therapy, to join our dynamic and multi-disciplinary team.
Based in new, ultra modern holistic practice in Carine, WA you'll work with a firmly established and diverse group of clients and be given the ideal balance of autonomy and support to perform the role and grow professionally.
Infusion Pilates and Physiotherapy has been operating for 13 years and has an enviable reputation and strong ties with the community.
Our focus is to provide physiotherapy care through hands on treatment and specific movement re-education in the forms of pilates and the GYROTONIC exercise method. Our loyal diverse clients range from young students to retirees, sporting professionals to office workers, those who are injured to those in full health; In addition to individualised treatment, programs and instruction, we offer over 25 specialty group classes per week to cater for the differing needs of our clients.
We have 4 consult rooms and 2 large exercise studios, one fully equipped with beautiful state of the art Australian Pilates Equipment (Pilates Equip) and Balanced Body Allegro 2 reformers, the other with GYROTONIC equipment. The GYROTONIC exercise method and GYROKINESIS classes are a unique innovative movement system based on spiralling movements of the spine and is used throughout Europe and the States for both rehab and high end conditioning. We are the only physiotherapy practice teaching this method in WA and will be expanding this side of our movement education.
Our team consists of 10 Allied Health professionals including a Clinical Psychologist, Remedial Massage Therapist and Bowen Therapist so we can work in a holistic way for client care.
You are a physiotherapist with strong assessment and movement analysis skills and love the challenge of working out the problem/driver.
You are someone who loves teaching pilates and the challenge of combining your physio knowledge with exercise to formulate appropriate, fun and interesting workouts for a broad range of clients. It is important you are reliable, patient, confident and truly enjoy working with clients in this strong educational role.
There are opportinities for the right candidate to move into a leadership role.
You must possess:
• Physiotherapy degree and AHPRA registration
• Formal training in pilates and confidence teaching rehab pilates - we would consider applications without this but with view to completing ASAP
ABOUT THE JOB
This position starts at part time with a ready made case load of a healthy mix of hands on treatment, individual pilates and group classes. We offer you the opportunity to build up to full time hours. You will have the scope to create your work according to where you think the need is for the clients. Currently we are fully booked and have wait lists of eager clients.
Monthly in house PD and support for external PD. Opportunity for fully paid for training in the GYROTONIC / GYROKINESIS method for the right candidate starting in July
Shifts include a mix of early starts and late finishes but no split shifts and we are closed Friday afternoons so early finish every week
Saturday morning work is essential in a roster
