Physiotherapy Job Summary:
We have a position for a part-time Physiotherapist with Clinical Pilates training to join the business.
The role has flexible hours starting around 20 hours part-time with an opportunity to go full-time in the future if this is desirable.
The role is primarily Clinical Pilates based, taking initials, privates and group sessions (up to 4 patients per hour). There is Physiotherapy hands-on work available during these hours also, ratio depending on applicants preference. The role needs lots of flexibility to work along side the patient from initial injury to exercise based functional work, and intertwine these in sessions as required to get the best outcome.
Studio Align is a Physiotherapy and Pilates Clinic. We have a large referral base for Clinical Pilates in particular, so we see a varied clientele, including very complex cases that need experienced Physiotherapists to work with them both hands-on and in a Pilates setting. As we are a small business with only 4 therapists and an office manager, we need a strong team player who is passionate about working in this setting, with a very good eye for the detail of movement and rehab. The ideal candidate would have Pilates Certification, 2 years minimum as a Physiotherapist, continuing education in one or more of the following; MET, LJ Lee Thoracic Ring Approach, Women’s Health training.
We do regular inservices, attend workshops and presentations as a group, and all our therapists are very friendly and available for patient discussions if needed.
