Mastering the Shoulder™ - HALIFAX - with Cameron Bennett, MSK PT, CSCS

This comprehensive two day workshop offers a mix of skills for diagnosing and treating shoulder pain. Key anatomy updates and specific pathology, a streamlined (but detailed) examination for an accurate diagnosis, and recommended treatment strategies for a variety of shoulder disorders. The course will emphasize how to build an accurate examination, key features of each shoulder problem together with specific treatments and progressions.

The course is taught by Cameron Bennett who has practiced exclusively as a shoulder clinician for the past 15 years, and has been teaching this course since 2014. Cameron’s full bio can be found at ActiveShoulderseminars.com.

The majority of skills taught in this course will focus on therapeutic exercise (and strategic progressions), simple manual therapy techniques and an understanding of when and how to involve multidisciplinary management.

The course will cover the following information and specific shoulder topics:

• Anatomy and Pathology of the Shoulder
• Examination & Radiology of the Shoulder
• Adhesive Capsulitis and Non-Inflammatory Contractures
• Rotator Cuff Tendinopathy & Bursitis (acute & chronic)
• AC Joint Separations – Graded management
• Rotator Cuff Tears – Non surgical to surgical
• Shoulder Impingement – everything you wanted to know and more!

Lecture, practical, demonstration and regular Q&A components throughout both days. Light refreshments throughout the day. Registration numbers are limited – please register early.
