PT license versus PTA

Has anyone ever considered to obtain PTA license first and then go towards PT license? I figuered that for PTA license they use different credentials evaluation tool (of course less course and credits are required) and there are more agencies approved for that (not only FCCPT).

I actually got credentials evaluations for PT and PTA. I ended up missing more requirements for PTA more than PT.
