Is there any summer work out there for a keen student?

Hi, I am a first year physio student in Bristol, England. I have 2 dreams 1.) to become a fantastic physio in 2 1/2 yrs time (am working on it!) 2.) To travel with my career and get to see some wonderful countries. I am extremely keen to travel and to gain some valuable work experience this summer (preferably with some pay-so I can live at the same time...) A tall order I know. Can anyone help me? I have taken a gap year already in which I worked as a nursing assistant in a busy neurosurgical unit. I thought I could poss. combine this with getting some unpaid work exp. or even better get a physiotherapist's assistant position for the summer. Ideally I am hoping to find a contact in Australia/New Zealand/Canada but since I have very limited travel experience, I would be glad to hear from anyone who could offer me an alternative summer from my normal location in England. Fingers crossed. Lisa Bunn
