Accreditation problems....any ideas??!

Hi there

I've been offered a job in BC which I have accepted and signed the contract. I am now in the process of accreditation....I have just got a letter from the Alliance saying I have a couple of gaps in my education.

The first is pharmacology (!)

The second is paediatrics - motor skills

I trained in the UK graduating 2 yrs ago....I've been working since then in a NHS junior rotational post.

The Alliance has offered me a chance to get the Uni to send proof that I have actually covered this. Or I have to fork out $400 for them to look into my previous experiences to see if I've met the standards that way.

I read in another post that the CSP can write a covering letter about the pharmacology bit....

Has anyone else had this problem? If so I would much appreciate advice on how to resolve this. Does anyone have a contact at the CSP who can deal with this??

Thanks in advance!
