Newly qualified physio looking for australian sponsor

Hi,

Im a newly qualified UK physiotherapist looking to work in Australia. Before beginning the registration exams I am looking into getting a temporary contract with a work visa with which I believe you can work for a max 3 months in each job for a year. However, I also understand you need to find a sponsor to supervise your clinical practice (as I would not be fully qualified) and was wondering if anyone can give me any information into how you would go about getting a sponsor? I realise you cannot gain temporary contracts in WA or queensland.

Looking forward to your replies x

Re: Newly qualified physio looking for australian sponsor

Hi there,
Just wondering if you are still looking for a sponsor as I would consider that process - I own 3 Physio clinics in NSW and am currently recruiting staff.
Regards,
Jane

Re: Newly qualified physio looking for australian sponsor

Hi Jane,

Thank you for your reply, it is much appreciated. I have recently started a rotational job on a year contract in the UK, therefore for the next year I am will be tied up in the contract. However, I am still very interested in working in Australia and would appreciate the opportunity of a sponsor maybe next year. Would it be possible to contact yourself closer to the time? Would there still be an opportunity of work?

Thank you very much x
