Registration ia NZ

Hi,
I wondered if anyone could help me.

I am moving to Oz with my Australian boyfriend next year. I have been on a career break for 2 years so not worked as a physio in this time but plan to do so when in Oz.

Rather than going through the costly exam process to register for Oz is it still possible to register in NZ and transfer across?

Many thanks

Question Re: Registration ia NZ

Hey guys,

What is TTMR? Does that mean being registered with NZ board gives you eligibility to practice anywhere in Australia?

Re: Registration ia NZ

Hi,
TTMR = Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition; as a NZ registered Physiotherapist you are eligible to apply for registration in any of the Australian states; as an Australian registered Physiotherapist, you are eligible to apply for NZ registration under that act.
Find a list of all Australian registration boards here:
Australian Physiotherapists Registration Boards —
You still have to undergo the registration process though, but it's really easy.
Regards,
Fyzzio
