Talking Physio volunteer for Asia (Vietnam, Cambodia)

Hi there! I am planning to volunteer and share my skills with people from the mentioned countries. I don't pretend to collect any money but to get accommodation in exchange. I intend to learn more about orthotics and prosthetics, as I am specialised in neurology. Does any body knows or heard of any place that will take volunteers? Has anybody being there before doing similar things? any tips?
Many thanks:
Lou.

Re: Physio volunteer for Asia (Vietnam, Cambodia)

Hi Lou,

Interestingly i am thinking of doing that myself! I know that Phnom Penh are keen for physios to go and set up and help in amputee clinics. I am still trying to find out who to contact. I am in touch with a friend out there so if i hear anymore i will let you know. In the meantime maybe try the UN out there or VSO.....
