static isometric muscle testing

Does anyone know of an outcome measure for static isometric muscle testing? I'm looking for something to assess joints mid-range.

With the US dollar so weak, i am taking the opportunity to buy up big! About AUD$1 = USD$0.93 which hasn't been like that in decades!
