EMG activity of the hamstrings

EMG activity of the hamstrings

I am about to start my research into EMG activity of the hamstrings in five hamstring rehabilitation exercises to produce 'normal EMG's' for these exercises, then have a look at recurrent hamstring strain patients and see whether their EMG activity is significantly different, in the symptomatic leg and asympotmatic leg.

Has anyone got any references or guidance on similar studies, or papers on EMG activity following injury (particulary hamstrings). Or an y advice on what I should look for or be wary of?

Any information and advice would be greatly appreciated, please email me at physioscott@aol.com.

Many thanks.
