re: tennis elbow and corticosteriod injections

Unfortunately corticosteroid injections are used too often by some sports doctors, before conservative treatment has even been tried!! Physio treatment could consist of many combinations of treatment: deep tissue release, ultrasound, laser, ice, stretches, SNAGs techniques, taping/ bracing etc. I would always suggest an extensive conservative treatment regime before recommending an injection.
