Can Soccer youth players be expected to play or train every day ?What is the ideal recovery time needed for muscles after maximal exertion.Any references would be great. Thanks a lot.

re: re:Recovery Time

Andrew,
When posting to discussion groups, it's usually considered good form to include in your question a list of the references you've already found. This ensures a) that you don't get given references you already have, and b) list members don't get annoyed by students who are trying to get others to do their homework for them.
Good luck with the question, and if you want more specific answers, try to be a little more specific in your question (how much training each day, what kind, what sort of muscle damage, what kind of participation are you expecting them to return to?)
