Physiotherapy Book

Could anyone suggest a good book on physiotherapy to get me started? Is there a standard text on physiotherapy that is well regarded?

I'm very new to physiotherapy, so something that starts at the beginning would be great.

Thanks in anticipation,

Leif

Are you studying at a university? The course texts should be considered by and large as excellent starting points.

A nice sports text to have more as a prompt when considering a further testing and diagnosis is Clinical Sports Medicine by Kahn and Brukner, Publisher: McGraw-Hill Education

Physiotherapy Book

These are some good books to start with. Furthermore, you should also consult your school syllabus as it varies in different countries.

Physical Rehabilitation Assessment and treatment By O'Sullivan & Schmitz 3rd Edition

Therapeutic Exercise Foundation and techniques By Carolyn Kisner & Lynn Allen Colby Third Edition

Tidy's Physiotherapy By Stuart Porter 13th Edition

I also find this book very good;

Principles of Anatomy and Physiology, Ninth Edition. Tortora/Grabowski

There varieties of standard reference books on different topics and you may choose any one of them according to your interest and choice.
