What is the difference...

Hi all,

I'm currently thinking about university courses, and i know the sort of area that i would like to study in. However im unsure about whether physiotherapy or sports therapy would be a better choice, and i cant seem to find much information describing the differences and advantages of each course.

Any help?

Thanks.

sports therapy focuses pretty much on the musculoskeletal aspect of physiotherapy..........anatomy, assessment etc is all the same/ However you won't pick up on the neuro and cardio stuff that physios do.........I've done a sports therapy degree and am now doing my physiotherapy training!

My opinion - physiotherapy eevrytime - you can do all sports stuff with physiotherapy, but you can;t do the other physiotherapy aspects with a sports therapy degree. Then there is also the issue of getting jobs with a sports therapy - my own experience is that noone is interested unless you're a physio
